Photograph caption dated August 24, 1961 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Campbell are glad to see Tom Jr., 9." The article partially reads, "A missing 9-year-old Pacoima visitor was found unharmed Wednesday night after a 10-hour search...Police said the youngster disappeared at 8 a.m. yesterday after he went out to chase a pet cat that had been tied in the back yard...When the boy failed to reappear, the parents phoned police, who sent seven units searching in the Pacoima area. At 6 p.m. last night, Mrs. Maurice Malkas, 12621 Cantara St., called police to report that the boy had wandered to her house."
