Description
Missile from February 1983. Cover photo is a portrait of Buffalo Stallion midfielder Ernie Buriano. Contents include a page where the donor glued a newspaper article about the upcoming match between the home team Buffalo Stallions and the visiting Golden Bay Earthquakes along with rosters of both teams, a story about New York Arrow Star Shep Messing, a story about Buffalo's German Iglesias, another newspaper article glued into the magazine reviewing the match in which the Quakes defeated the Stallions 6-5, a newspaper photo of Buffalo's Oscar Pisano doing an overhead kick, another newspaper article glued in about the Quakes Steve Zungul, photos and profiles of the Stallions staff, photos and profiles of the Stallions players, photos illustrating referee signals, the MISL 1981/82 final standings, 5 ticket stubs stapled into the center of the magazine for the February 6, 1983 match at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, the Earthquakes rosters with headshot photos, a filled out in pen score sheet, MISL regulations and laws, a feature on Quakes forward Godfrey Ingram, a feature on the College Soccer Graduates including Indiana's Gregg Thompson, and MISL vocabulary.
