Description
A group of Mayan women, men and children attend a funeral service at a cemetery in Patzún, Chimaltenango for a funeral service. The service was held in honor of a Mayan civilian who was allegedly killed by guerilleros. A group of men lay the coffin down in front of a tombstone. In the middle of the image there are five soldiers saluting the deceased. They are all armed with IMI Galil rifles of Israeli origin. Un grupo de hombres, mujeres, y niños mayas asisten a un funeral en un cementerio de Patzún en Chimaltenango. El servicio fue organizado en honor a un civil maya quien presuntamente fue asesinado por guerrilleros. Un grupo de hombres en el medio de la imagen bajan el ataúd en frente de una tumba. En el medio también se observa a cinco soldados haciendo un saludo al difunto. Todos ellos portan fusiles IMI Galil de origen israelí.
