Description
Dr. Francine Shapiro discusses her book, “EMDR.” She begins by explaining that EMDR stands for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. She talks about how she developed this form of therapy that helps ease anxiety and stress. She talks about how EMDR integrates several different therapies with audio and visual stimulation. She discusses how she had cancer and decided to test her therapy on other people. Dr. Shapiro talks about the differences between EMDR and hypnosis. She ends the interview by describing how people’s brainwaves change while trying EMDR therapy.
