Photograph caption dated August 2, 1985 reads, "Three victims were severely injured today in a head-on traffic collision in Tarzana that trapped them inside the wreckage. The accident occurred at Corbin Avenue and Topham Street and rescue unites responded at 8:44 a.m., according to Greg Acevedo, city fire spokesman. Foremen worked for more than 30 minutes to extricate the injured who were rushed by paramedics to Northridge Hospital Medical Center."
