Description
Typed letter from Harry T. Kranz, District Manager of the Twelfth United States Civil Service District to Tsugi Hamada discussing eligibility for stenographer and/or typist, requirement to pass a physical examination, and report of her ratings from the stenographer and typist examination.
James J. Kubo (b. 1916) was married to Tsugi Hamada (b. 1918) and opened an optometrist business in Sacramento in 1938. They had two sons, Ronald and Douglas, and a daughter, Beverly. He was incarcerated at Tule Lake Incarceration Camp until he left for Chicago and was drafted into the Military Intelligence Service (MIS). Mr. Kubo returned to Sacramento after completing his service at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
