Description
Image of six indoor and outdoor scenes performed by the comic troupe Salsbury's Troubadours including a winter sleigh scene with a horse-drawn sleigh in the snow, and dramatic and musical scenes with characters in historic and contemporary costumes and including royalty, individuals holding swords, musicians with mandolins and bells, and a woman holding a glass of wine; a head-and-shoulders portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte in a circle frame at upper right.
Date range supplied by cataloger based on years Nate Salsbury operated the comic troupe ("Reminiscences by Nate Salsbury" in the Journal of American Drama and Theatre, Vol. 5, Issue 1 [Winter 1993], page 5). "A. Hoen & Co. Lith. Baltimore."--text, bottom margin centered.
