Photograph of a dome-shaped Paiute Indian hut in Inyo County, ca.1900. The small hut is at right and is made of small branches or reeds held together by horizontal braches wrapped around the circumference of the hut. There is a narrow door in the center of the hut, made of several small pieces of wood attached to each other. There is an overturned basket at left. In the background is a tall snow covered mountain.
