Description
Photograph of an interior view of the jigger room at the Pacific Clay Products factory in Los Angeles, 1934. The room is long and narrow with corrugated metal walls and a wooden ceiling. At center, three men are standing around a wooden table working on clay pots. Several finished clay products can be seen on a shelf in the foreground at left, as well as on a wheeled cart at right. Hanging from the ceiling are many wooden patterns. In the distance, more tables are visible and more workers can be seen gathered around them. Photoprint identifies the area as "Plant #4".
