Abies grandis. Lumber sells at San Pedro etc. as white pine. Good sound timber. Very symmetrical. Forms small proportion of stand. Not good for butter as it has odor. Used a great deal for dock timbers. View shows edge of cut area. Stand mostly of redwood in background. White fir 36" diameter, 200' high. Tanbark oak in foreground also small redwood fire columns.
