Caption from February 2, 1989 Sacramento Bee reads "Protective clothing protects McClellan technician Sam Wagner, at left, from caustic paint-stripping chemicals he applies to an F-15 underbelly in preparation for removing surface rivets." "Sam Wagner wears protective clothing to protect himself from caustic chemicals he is applying to the underbelly of the jet. The chemicals remove the paint over rivets which are then removed to gain access into the inner areas of the palne."
