Photograph caption dated March 5, 1956 reads "Although Campbell's Valley Plaza is a new men's shop, the presence of Universal-International Starlet Miss Jane Howard added charm and glamour to the ribbon-cutting ceremonies which officially opened the store. Shown above are, from left, Frank Wire, general manager of the Campbell chain; Harry Geyer, president of the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce; Joe Campbell, president of the Campbell chain; Miss Howard; and Stan Matheson, manager of the Valley Plaza store. The new shop is at 6551 Laurel Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood."
