Description
This report contains a compilation of the experiences of Topaz Junior High School seventh graders during the war relocation effort. It is described that that "This direct and disconcertingly penetrating narrative serves to illustrate the fact that in their unconscious, unsophisticated simplicity, young children are often able to evaluate a situation with a clarity and freshness which more mature writers find difficult to surpass...Here is a documentation which is real and sincere; filled with a human touch that comes near to making it classic."
