Description
Large beaded purse with rounded, tasselled bottom and metal rectangular frame, kiss-lock closure and chain handle. Both sides have abstracted butterfly design in blue, red, orange, and green beads. Bottom is fringed in multicolored beads and decorated with large beaded tassel marked with large blue glass bead. Metal frame has acanthus leaf and floral engraved design, marked January 3, 1920 on one side and the letters CAC on the other. Lining is hot pink silk with two deep, long pockets. Purse is accompanied by cotton bag marked Crane Co. containing glass corked vials of extra beads/thread and bead material.
