On back: "His Excellency, the Most Reverend John J. Mitty, D.D., Archbishop of San Francisco, who will personally lead the greatest pilgrimage in the Pacific Coast's religious history to Rome and Lourdes during the summer of 1949. American Express-Catholic Travel League is handling all arrangements. Members will sail from New York on June 22, 1949 in the R.M.S. Queen Mary, of Cunard White Star Line, the world's fastest ocean liner. The outstanding feature of the Pilgrimage will be a special audience with His Holiness, Pope Pius XII.
