Description: Lee de Forest sitting in a leather chair, turning a knob on the front of a receiver which is sitting on top of his desk. The lid of the device is open, hinged at the back. This is likely one of the De Forest Radio Company's portable models that featured a folding cone speaker. From a de Forest scrapbook (2003-34-730)
