Photograph caption reads: "Encino's honorary mayor, Howard Hill, takes time out from target practice to receive first Valley order of Camp Fire Girls candies from two charming Blue Birds, Cathy Jo Miller, 8, 14003 Riverside Dr., Sherman Oaks, and Joan Russell, 11, 13437 McCormick St., Van Nuys, from left. Candy sale, involving 14,000 Camp Fire Girls, Blue Birds and Horizon Club members in Los Angeles area starts April 21 to run through May 13. Adult volunteers and parents will supervise the project to raise funds for camperships, improvements at Camp Yallani and operating costs of the Los Angeles Council not covered by Community Chest funds."
