Description
Three women wearing hats are depicted from the bust upwards, and two other hats are pictured in the top row. The woman at the top center wears a deep blue dress with a white collar and a pleated bow. She is surrounded as part of the page design by an oval feathery garland of light blue, with a pink bow at the lowest point. Her hat is a medium brown straw, decorated with a bunch of purple grapes and pink, light blue, and purple ribbons and bows on top and under the brim at the side. On either side of her is a hat. The left hat is of bright pink and black poufs, with black ribbon ties, and pink upstanding cockades of ribbon. The hat on the right hat is a brown straw flat-brimmed boater decorated with brown feathers and pink and blue ribbon. The woman on the bottom left is wearing a blue jacket with a velvet collar over a white shirt with an upstanding collar and a small blue bow tie. Her hat a brown straw with a pink rose on the underside of the brim and a standing brown ruffle with ornamented edges covering the top. The woman on the right wears a deep rose jacket with white lace lapels over a white shirt in a masculine style with a standing collar, pink buttons or shirt studs down the center front, and a black pleated bow tie. Her hat is a gray straw with a rolled brim, with three bands of gold patterned trim on the brim. The top of the hat has pink flowers, and red and green ivy leaves.
