Photograph caption dated July 7, 1964 reads "Bantamweight title contender Mashiko [sic] 'Fighting' Harada of Japan, shown backing off from Manila's Rey Asis last night at the Sports Arena, suffered a severe cut on his left eye but easily pounded out a 10-round unanimous decision over Asis. Six stitches were required to close Harada's cut."
