Description
Jack A. McCullough (left) and William W. Eitel, with a power transmitting tube that was a forerunner of those they produced for World War II radar. Their company, Eimac, became a world leader in power tubes. McCullough and Eitel met in 1930 while working at Heinz and Kaufman. They started Eimac in 1934 in San Bruno, California.
