Description
Photograph caption dated June 11, 1957 reads "'The Vagabonds,' a coed Hi-Y Club of Mid Valley YMCA, accept George Putnam Youth Achievement award for outstanding community service. Officers are, from left, Gary Arps, past vice president; Linda Riggin, past president; Elaine Burnham, vice president; Robert Lombardi, president, and O. H. Riggin, adult adviser." The YMCA was located at 14515 Hamlin Street, Van Nuys. A replacement facility, at 6901 Lennox Avenue, Van Nuys, was built in 1961.
