Photograph of Father Superior Peter Wallischeck (Wallacecheck?) standing at outdoor fountain at Mission Santa Barbara, ca.1898. At center, Father Superior can be seen wearing a Franciscan habit. He stands beside a rotund, stone fountain and holds a watering can in his right hand. Along the rim of the fountain, four potted plants can be seen. Behind the fountain, several large trees are visible beside a large structure. Further in the background, the bell tower of the church can be seen at right, while the tip of the frontal facade topped with a cross can be seen at center.
