Railway tracks curve down the street from the center foreground into the right background. Several horse-drawn carriages are traveling on the street at left, which are lined with one- to two-story buildings. Utility poles line the streets. Hills are visible in the background. Legible signs include: "Wu[...] Be[...]", "plumbing", "[...]under Beer", "[...]che Oberon", "cigars", "Rox Kux house", "now 5¢", "Monterey", "Cummings Son". CHS-6127A shows the same scene except with utility lines, utility poles, and railway tracks edited out.
