Description
Arthur Freed, left, MGM producer, is shown as he was presented one of France's highest awards, the Legion of Honor, for "his many contributions to making French culture better known to the American and international public." French Consul General Raoul Bertrand presented the award while actresses Cyd Charisse and Judy Garland looked on in the award presentation on March 24, 1953.
