Opgaver: Administration af ICC-aktiviteter samt træning af offentligt ansatte i administration og ledelse. Administrationschef i Danmission, 2001-02. Genudsendt til ICC fra 2002, til arbejde som rådgiver for ledelsen på Tandlægefakultetet, samt med fokus på bekæmpelse af fattigdom og dialog mellem kristne og buddhister. I 2005 blev Susanne Tjagvad Madsen gift med Kim Seng Mony fra Cambodia. De følgende år arbejdede de bl.a. med oprettelse af den kristne udviklingsorganisation "House of Care" - i 2009 godkendt som en lokal NGO. Arbejdet fungerer som et værested med fokus på religionsdialog og uddannelse af unge, som kan ruste dem til at klare tilværelsen i storbyen Phnom Penh, samt bidrage til fredelig sameksistens mellem kristne og buddhister. Susanne Tjagvad Madsen sluttede ansættelsen i Danmission 2012, men deres arbejde fortsætter med støtte fra anden side. (Foto 2001)

Description
Susanne Tjagvad Madsen. Economics graduate in organization and management, 1997. Sent by Danish Santal Mission to International Cooperation for Cambodia/ICC, 1998-2000. Working areas: Manager of ICC activities, and training of public employees in administration and management. Administration Manager of Danmission, 2001-02. Re-sent to ICC from 2002, as Consultant for the Dental Faculty Leadership, as well as focusing on dialogue between Christians/ Buddhists, and on powerty reduction. In 2005, Susanne Tjagvad Madsen married to Kim Seng Mony from Cambodia. The following years they e.g. worked on founding of the Christian development organization "House of Care" – in 2009 approved as a local NGO. The work serves at a drop-in center, focusing on religious dialogue and vocational training of young people, helping them to cope with life in the big city, Phnom Penh, and contribute to the peaceful co-exsistence between Christians and Buddhists. Susanne Tjagvad Madsen terminated the Danmission employment in 2012. However, the work of Susanne and Mony continues with funding from other sources. (Photo 2001).
