Photographic portrait of Mrs. Katherine Tingley, head of the Theosophical Institute at Point Loma, [s.d.]. Mrs. Tingley is shown from her shoulders to her head and can be seen looking to the left. She is visible wearing a dark blouse decorated with dark ribbons. Her long, dark hair can be seen tied up on top of her head and held in place with a pin. She is a heavyset woman with nearly invisible eyebrows.
