Description
This circa 1905 postcard provides a montage of Sacramento landmarks. In the upper left-hand corner and moving clockwise are as follows: The California State Fair Pavilion at Fifteenth and N streets, the United States Post Office at Seventh and K streets, the Capitol building's statue of Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus, the central building at Sutter's Fort at Twenty-Seventh and L streets, and the Sacramento Public Library at 718 I Street. Below the bold lettering, and moving clockwise is the Crocker Art Museum at Third and O streets, the California State Capitol at Tenth and L, streets, another view of the central building at Sutter's Fort at Twenty-Seventh and L streets, and the street car gateway to the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento.
