Description: The connecting link that ties the Hollywood Freeway into the Aliso junction where the Santa Ana and Ramona freeways meet, will be partially opened for traffic. Only the west-bound lanes are paved, however, and east-bound traffic will use these. All lanes will be ready in four weeks, when both streams of traffic will flow undisturbed from one freeway to another. Photo dated: October 14, 1953.
