Photograph of a view of the wrecked end of the Dominguez levee looking south toward Long Beach during a flood on the Los Angeles River, 1916. Broken stalks of plants are visible on the sodden bank in the left foreground while the river rushes by to the left, filling much of the image. Another bank is visible in the distance.
