Description
Print depicts a manager at a desk between busts of Lord Byron and William Shakespeare. A broken bust can be seen on the floor in front of the desk. A manager speaks to an author about payment. Dialogue between them can be seen at bottom of print. The print lists Charles Kean and a Mr. Oxenford. Oxenford may refer to John Oxenford, an English playwright. The print has been cut at top right corner.
