This pigment print was made in 2011. It is signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. Designed by Welton Becket and Associates and built by C. L. Peck Co. in 1954, the 13-story building and Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument provides 78,000 sq. ft. of office space.; The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Looking north up Vine Street before it crosses the 101 Freeway towards the Capitol Records Building. Various homes and the Hollywood Sign in the Hollywood Hills are visible.
