Photo caption reads: "To scatter the ashes of a man who once befriended her, Princess Tsianina, Cherokee Indian concert singer, pictured above, recently climbed to the top of Long's peak in the Colorado Rockies. She was en route to Los Angeles when she learned of the death of Neils Dahl, Denver musician. In payment of a debt of gratitude she rerouted her trip and undertook the task of carrying out his last request." Photograph dated November 2, 1933.
