Description
Photograph caption dated November 12, 1985 reads, "About 200 protesters march and sing "God Bless America" outside KCBS-TV's Hollywood studios in response to a "Cagney & Lacey" episode dealing with abortion and an abortion clinic bombing. "Members of the board of the California Moral Majority charge CBS with dredging up abortion bombings and exploiting this theme." the Rev. R.L. Hymers Jr., a protest spokesman, said yesterday, CBS said the program, which aired last night, "presents a balanced view of the issue." Police called the protest peaceful and orderly."
