Caption printed on photo: "497. Kallock's [sic] Temple." Name is actually spelled "Kalloch." Text written under photo: "Metropolitan Temple 1881-5th Street. View of Metropolitan Temple, elaborate three-story structure with central tower, on east side of 5th between Market and Mission. Lincoln School next door to left. Sidewalk crowded with children. Lone carriage going down 5th.
