Description
Dr. Alvin Marks, a psychologist in Sacramento, who was a pilot and the president of a commuter airline based in Sacramento, Skymark Airlines. He made a record-breaking solo trip around the world in 1969 in his Cessna. Here, holding up a framed cartoon of Snoopy, drawn for him by Charles Schulz, which has been presented to him. (Marks carried a stuffed animal Snoopy with him on his flights.) The writing on the cartoon cannot be made out. The gentleman on the right in profile might be Schulz.
