Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated December 23, 1960 partially reads, "This is the story of Peter and the Werewolf: It started several days ago when Peter McArdle, 11, saw the creature through the kitchen window of his home in Tujunga. And it still hasn't ended. Other members of the Arnold McArdle family, as well as their friends, have also seen the wolf. On Tuesday the entire family made a sober-sided report to police that either a prowler or a prankster, wearing a wolf mask and fur gloves, was popping up around the house, 10759 Redmont Ave., at odd hours of the night."
