Shown in circa 1943 are the harried wartime efforts of those working within McClellan's Machine Shops. At this time, McClellan climaxed its employment with nearly 22,000 military and civilian personnel who worked on everything from C-47 Skytrain transports to the Douglas C-33 cargo carrier, the latter of which is pictured here.
