Photograph article dated November 25, 1960 partially reads, "'Gee, kid. I think it's going to be all right.' Florence Kramer stepped back from her easel and cocked a critical eye at the clown she had blocked in on the canvas. Toughy, a pet parakeet perched on Mrs. Kramer's shoulder, let out an appreciative chirp. 'Oh, scram, kid - I've got work to do.' The bird scrammed. 'You know something,' said the Sherman Oaks amateur artist, adding a touch of red to the clown's nose, 'that bird's got real taste. I'm pretty sure the painting's going to be okay. That kid's a real critic.'"
