At right, city buildings are positioned together in tight blocks, separated by roads. At left, the land appears developed but wihtout buildings, a complex of roads and shapes, showing a large pool at the lower edge of the image. Farther left, a wide road routes several lanes of automobiles. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A. City Planning Dept. Rm.361 F City Hall, Los Angeles, California".
