Description
Image shows view looking northeast along west façade of Malaga Cove School, located at 385 Via Almar in Malaga Cove. Visible is the balcony, entrance, and tower with newly inset clocks, with dense landscaping along sidewalk in foreground. The grammar school, built for a cost of $85,000, opened on April 5, 1926 and received an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects for the most notable school architecture in Southern California for the years 1925-26.
