Photograph caption dated September 24, 1959 reads, "Members of Norrona Lodge in Van Nuys are busily engaged preparing lefse as Sons of Norway make big plans for the annual fall smorgasbord to be held at Golden Valley Auditorium, 13506 Sherman Way, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 3. Mrs. Agnes Edwardson, left, holds the finished product over the lefse iron as Mrs. Mildred Kiesser rolls dough to proper shape and Mrs. Lois Seeger prepares additional dough for rolling. A number of delicious food items will be prepared for the smorgasbord and ladies will have bazaar items and games for the children. Information may be obtained by calling ST-0-4778 or PO-1-1265."
