Description
This circa 1941 postcard shows the evening splendor of World War II-era K Street, between the intersections of Ninth and Tenth streets. The Fox Senator Theater, located at 912 K Street, the Hotel Sequoia, located at 911 K Street, and Hart's Lunch, located at 919 K Street. In the distance, a street car makes its way east along K Street. In the foreground, to the right, is the Forum Building, located at 1107 Ninth Street.
