The library, now Powell Library, is in the background. Library was built 1927-1929 and designed by architect George W. Kelham. Building was constructed in a northern Italian Romanesque Revival style. Moving Day, from U.C.L.A.'s Vermont Avenue campus to the new Westwood site, on May 31, 1929. Workers and student helpers are carrying desks into Royce Hall.
