Looking down Pacific Avenue. The store on the far left is Field and Cole Company's Big Curio Store. There is a streetcar half-way down the block. The Union Traction Company was converting the streetcar tracks from narrow gauge to standard gauge. The tracks running down Pacific are standard gauge. Crossing these, running from Lincoln Street on the left to Soquel Avenue on the right, are narrow gauge tracks.
