The first and second sides of the cassette tapes both contain a recording of a NOW board meeting, where officers discussed the club budget, fundraising updates, the gurney test, proposition 13, Media Task Force updates, and upcoming NOW events, organizing the taping of an upcoming Equal Rights Amendment event, the Homestate Picnic event, Legislative Task Force updates, Media Task Force updates, the club budget, the Church of Scientology, and abortion issues. In addition, topics relating to specific media events were also introduced, including the announcement about a NOW club member participating in an Equal Rights Amendment televised debate, NOW members becoming informational resources to the local news stations, television networks that included content about women's issues in their programs, and the Communications Act Rewrite. The meeting concluded with a discussion of Legislation Task Force updates and the possible keynote speakers who may be invited to an upcoming NOW event.
