Photograph caption dated April 9, 1955 reads "James Clingenpeel, 33, of 15205 Covello St., Van Nuys, is questioned by Officers (sic) H. D. Peterson after he was identified as driver of car that struck neighbor Julia Perez, 8, as she rode her bike.
