Antonio Villaraigosa (born Antonio Ramon Villar, Jr. on January 23, 1953) is the 41st Mayor of Los Angeles. He was elected on May 17, 2005, had his inaugural gala at the Los Angeles Music Center on June 30, 2005, and was officially sworn into office on July 1, 2005. Jason Lloyd Phillips (born September 27, 1976) made his major league debut in 2001 with the New York Mets, was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2005, and was traded again to the Toronto Blue Jays in 2006. photograph dated May 20, 2005.
