Description
A photographer holds a camera as band members in berets play for a dance party. Caption reads: Filmland guests of the party, one of the merriest and most amusing of the season, are shown dancing in a setting of soft lights and palm trees. The dancers dressed in the colorful, informal attire of the Cote d'Azur, famous seaside resort section in the south of France. The ball took its name from Cap d'Antibes, a small watering place where smart folk forget the formalitites of city life in an air of rustic ease. Photo dated: Dec. 18, 1937.
