Description
Photograph of an exterior view of "Territorial Enterprise" in Virginia City, Nevada, ca.1930. The large brick building in the center houses "Territorial Enterprise" "where Mark Twain started as a reporter and his career as a writer in the 1860's". Wood columns line the doors of the building while what appear to be thin, stone columns support the fenced porch that shades that sidewalk and extends out of the second story. Bricks surround the four windows on the second story as well as the three windows on the abutting building on the left. Also two stories, the second building has lightly-colored trim while on the right side of the first building a wood and brick wall is covered in the remains of posters.
