"New Facility: A painting of Negro inventory Andrew J. Beard, done by Negro artist Bertha Mae Turney of Sacramento, is a topic of conversation of this group, which yesterday attended the dedication of the Negro Museum and Library at 3418 Broadway in Oak Park. From left, they are Msgr. Raymond Renwald, attorney Douglas R. Geer, former Sacramento Mayor Clarence L. Azevedo, and Joseph M. Lawson, business manager of the museum. Paintings and artifacts depciting the Negro's role in building the country are housed in the building.
